Do I need a referral?
No. Book online and come in.
Do you take insurance?
No. You pay directly, which is why the prices are published. Acupuncture is $95 a session, or $80 a session in a six-session plan. Chiropractic on its own is $60, or $50 in a plan. Cards, HSA, FSA, and cash are all accepted.
Does Tricare cover this?
Tricare does not cover acupuncture. Any practice that implies otherwise is costing you time.
What happens at the first visit?
An evaluation, then treatment if the exam calls for it. Dr. Simaan tells you what he finds and what it will take before he starts. Bring a list of what you have already tried, including imaging and medications.
Does acupuncture hurt?
The needles are closer to a hair than to anything you have had blood drawn with. Most first-time patients are surprised by how little they feel. Several of the reviews on the Google profile are from people who had never tried it before.
How many visits will I need?
It depends on the condition and how long you have had it. Six sessions is where most treatment plans start, which is why the packages exist. You get an answer specific to you at the first evaluation rather than a number off a website.
Do the six-session plans expire?
No. Use them at whatever pace your care requires, and add more when you need them.
Do I get acupuncture and an adjustment in the same visit?
Where the treatment plan calls for both, yes. Same doctor, same session, no added cost. Electroacupuncture is included on the same basis.
Do you treat children?
Yes. Technique is adapted to the child, and findings are explained to the parent before anything happens.
I was in a car accident. What do I do?
Get evaluated even if you feel alright, because documentation gaps are what insurers argue about later. Evaluations are documented for insurance purposes. Note the accident when you book.
