The practice families here tell each other about.
About five miles from the Wilson Gate. Treating retirees, the spouses and kids who hold it all together, and the Marines and sailors the base system has not sorted out.
What we can and cannot tell you honestly.
Tricare does not cover acupuncture. We are not going to tell you otherwise, and any practice that implies it does is costing you time. This is a cash-pay practice with prices published on the pricing page, so you know the cost up front instead of after a claim gets denied.
Dr. Simaan is not a veteran. What he is, is a doctor with more than twenty-five years in practice who has treated a lot of people who wear or wore the uniform, and their families.
Retirees
Twenty years of load-bearing does not undo itself at the retirement ceremony. Knees, low backs, shoulders, necks, and the accumulated wear that never got treated properly because there was always a deployment in the way.
Retirees are a big part of the military community we see. Tricare does not cover acupuncture at any stage, so this is care you were paying for out of pocket wherever you went. Ours are published on the pricing page.
Spouses and families
The spouse is usually the one who finds the provider, books it, and gets everyone there. The same care is available to you: chronic pain, migraine, hormone-related and pregnancy care, and the neck and shoulder pain that comes from carrying the whole operation.
Dr. Simaan also treats babies and children, with technique adapted to the child and findings explained to the parent before anything happens.
Active duty
If you are still in, base medical is your first stop and it costs you nothing. We are not going to pretend otherwise. Most active duty patients who end up here have already been through that system for the same problem and are still carrying it.
When people do come, it is usually one of three reasons: the base has not resolved it, they want acupuncture and cannot get it there, or there is a PT test or a medical review on the calendar and the timeline matters more than the cost. If that is you, say so at the first visit so the plan is built around the date.
The PCS problem
Every rotation means finding new providers from scratch, usually while unpacking. If you have just arrived and are working out who to see, the prices are published, the phone is answered by a person, and there is usually an appointment inside the week.
What it costs
- Acupuncture, $95 a session, or $80 a session in a six-session plan

In their words.
A few of the reasons patients keep sending other people here. We leave names off out of respect for patient privacy. Read the rest on our Google Business Profile.
"I wish I could leave more than 5 stars! Dr. Simaan is the most compassionate and caring doctor our family has ever seen. He genuinely cares and listens. He has a gift, and he has changed my life as well as my son's. When other doctors gave up, Dr. Simaan did not!"
"If you want someone who will really listen to what is bothering you and help you fix it, this is where you need to go! I have sent everyone I know to see him and they have all been shocked at the progress they have made in such a short period of time."
