Babies and children.
Dr. Simaan treats children as well as adults, with technique adapted to the child and findings explained to the parent first.
Parents ask two questions before anything else. What exactly are you going to do, and how will I know it is safe. Both deserve a straight answer before a hand goes anywhere near a child, which is how this works here.
Dr. Simaan examines, tells you what he finds, tells you what he would do about it, and only then does anything. If you want to stop and think about it, that is a normal thing to do and nobody will push you. If what he finds belongs with your pediatrician instead, he will say so.
What the visit looks like
Technique for a child is not a smaller version of an adult adjustment. Force is substantially lower and the approach changes with age and size. For infants the contact is light. Older kids who are playing sports and taking falls get something closer to what an adult would recognise, scaled down.
You stay in the room. You see everything. Most parents find that the explanation takes longer than the treatment does.
What we do not claim
This is care for musculoskeletal problems. It is not a treatment for colic, reflux, ear infections, sleep, or any medical condition of infancy, and you should be sceptical of any practice that tells you otherwise. Keep your pediatrician in the loop. Dr. Simaan works alongside that relationship rather than in place of it.
"Dr. Simaan is the most compassionate and caring doctor our family has ever seen. He genuinely cares and listens. He has a gift, and he has changed my life as well as my son's."
"I would highly recommend anybody to call him for a consult and see for themselves. He also helps children."
